Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Zen Decor’s design services, you agree to these terms. If you are a business entity, the individual accepting represents authority to bind. Services include consultation, spatial design, installation oversight, and material sourcing.

2. Service Scope & Fees

Design fees are quoted per project based on square footage and complexity. Standard residential rooms (up to 300 sq ft) start at $1,200. Payment schedule: 50% deposit to commence design, 25% upon schematic approval, 25% upon final delivery. Additional costs for materials, shipping, and subcontractor labor are billed separately with receipts.

3. Client Responsibilities

Client must provide accurate room measurements, disclose structural constraints (load-bearing walls, electrical), and obtain necessary permissions (HOA, landlord). Client assumes risk for any pre-existing conditions (mold, asbestos) uncovered during design.

4. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, renderings, mood boards, and specifications are the exclusive property of Zen Decor until final payment. After payment, client receives a license for personal use only. Resale or reproduction of designs without written consent is prohibited.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable after 48 hours of signing. If project cancelled during schematic phase, refund of 50% of that portion. No refunds after construction documents issued. Force majeure clauses apply for natural disasters, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

Zen Decor’s aggregate liability is limited to fees paid. We are not liable for consequential damages (emotional distress, loss of enjoyment). All claims must be filed within 1 year of service completion.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Sedona, AZ under JAMS rules. Prevailing party entitled to attorney fees. This agreement is governed by Arizona law.

8. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
